FocusFlow taught me that productivity design is really about psychology, not features. The challenge wasn't building a task manager, those exist everywhere. It was designing something that actually makes you want to start, stay consistent, and feel good about what you got done. The motivational quote on the home screen, the focus tracker progress bar, the satisfying checkmark on completed tasks, none of these are functional necessities, but they're what separates an app people use from one they abandon after three days.
