What if I could make a whole game only using Rive? That's how the idea for this fun personal project began, and here is the result.
As a Creative Technologist and Animator, I find great satisfaction in seeking ingenious solutions, so I tried to push the boundaries of Rive in this experiment. Here are some details I'm proud of:
The core gameplay loop is fully editable through data binding
Heads and bombs are easily editable components
The cut direction follows the user’s swipe
Interface and animations adapt to different screen sizes
Starting and ending points for heads and bombs are randomized
The open project is available in the Rive community so everyone can take a closer look at this puzzling setup.
