Josh Bergman, the youngest racer to ever be WSK Champion, had an old website that wasn't doing his brand, or his accomplishments justice. It was hard to update and, with his goals of building a sustainably growing, it simply cutting it. With his incredibly bright future, he deserved an easy and beautiful way to continue growing his brand. I was lucky enough to aid in this mission and over the course of 8 weeks, I was able to transform Josh's website with a complete rebuild, built in Framer.

The Process
This project as logistically exciting! I was traveling throughout the entire process, and while doing meetings in the client across the globe. Josh was in Italy racing. I was in Vietnam taking meetings with the team in the USA to build his website. Regardless of all of these possible roadblocks, I was able to efficiently build this site to (what I believe to be) near perfection! Josh Bergman Racing had a loose brand guideline, but I was able to organize colors and adjust things to his new primary partnership: Red Bull Racing Junior Team.
Here is how this project went:
Started by collecting information about Josh using my async brand gathering system. Here I also grabbed a ton of inspiration from other incredible websites in the same industry.
With his brand now fleshed out and a direction, I moved into Framer Design Pages to make the first round of Wireframes for the client to review.
As each wireframe got approved, I continued to loose Hi-Fidelity designs in Framer design pages
Now the main thing was copy, I worked with the client to perfect this aspect while developing the Hi-Fidelity designs as full-fledged Framer Pages.
This is when I started building the backend infrastructure with the highly flexible Framer CMS. I opted for a multi-referencing approach for his race results, races, support system, media library, and more! This was a big part of the project!
Finally, I did a full-sweep QA, and got the animations smoothed out. I made sure everything was responsive, optimally performing, and got the final thumbs up from the client.
The launch 🚀. Even while across the globe from one another, I launched the site on https://joshbergmanracing.com/ and got myself a Banh Mi and surf lessons to celebrate.
The Results
After 8 weeks of iteration, I was able to turn the Josh Bergman racing website from a single page, static website into an interactive, scroll animation, thoughtfully website. Not only now does the website reflect Josh's skill, but will also provided Josh's team a place on the internet that they can be proud to call home. And they can always update their content with ease, with the help of my custom tutorials on how to use their Framer website.
