Doctor Who - Re-generation Case Study

CHALLENGE

The challenge was to produce a case study video for an influencer-based social media campaign which was for building interest for the 14th season of the BBC's TV show Doctor Who. The feel of the case study had to be in-line with the space/time-travelling genre of the TV show.

SOLUTION

For all the copy I used thick 3D titles that glowed and animated them flying towards the camera to give a dynamic feel, and I worked a lot specifically on the main titles reveal, using shockwave pulse effects and the Saber plugin. Then I sourced nebula-based space graphics which I colour corrected to sit nicely in the background.
