Overview:
As a contract Social Media Assistant at IL MAKIAGE, I worked with the Content Marketing Manager to develop and execute the brand’s Instagram content strategy. I designed on-brand visuals using Canva, crafted copy for posts and community engagement, and ensured a consistent brand voice. Additionally, I strategized content stories around product launches and seasonal messaging to boost engagement and brand awareness.
Strategy & Execution:
Content Ideation & Strategy: Collaborated on ideas for evergreen content and seasonal stories, aligning with product launches and social trends.
Instagram Grid/Feed: Designed visually engaging graphics and wrote copy for grid posts, ensuring all content reflected IL MAKIAGE’s brand voice and aesthetic.
Community Engagement: Developed copy for posts to foster interaction and support community management.
Instagram Stories: Created weekly stories to promote products, enhance brand visibility, and increase viewer interaction using widgets.
Results (December 2022 – April 2023):
Impressions: 6.24 million (+593.05%)
Video Views: 1.82 million (+224.91%)
Net New Followers: 67,245 (+2,941.38%)
Engagements: 73,597 (+417.56%)
