Kaijego, meaning Let's Go! in Igbo, takes young Africans on colourful travel adventures all around the world. Their goal is get you to experience the world through their lens— through kai's eyes. The wordmark logo is modelled to fuse in Kai's head. The identity is angled forward to reinforce the idea that Kaijego is always on the move, taking people on adventures from city to city. We developed simple geometric patterns inspired by passport stamp patterns. The patterns serve as an extension of Kai's identity to be used across different assets and touch points. Design Process: This project started with in-depth conversations with the founder, Alma, to explore various concepts for the brand. Central to our discussions was Alma’s innovative idea of anchoring the brand around Kai, a parrot and every customer's travel buddy. Inspired by Kai's adventurous spirit and perpetual movement from city to city, I crafted a dynamic wordmark with a slight forward slant to embody this sense of motion. Building on the logo, we curated a distinctive palette of brand colors, and developed additional creative assets such as airplane windows and engaging brand patterns, integrating the slanted design to reinforce the brand's visual identity across all platforms. Over the next couple of months, we collaborated with the Kaijego team to implement brand elements across critical customer touchpoints. We provided guidance and constructive feedback to ensure the seamless integration of the brand assets and elements, solidifying a cohesive brand experience. Through strategic initiative and collaborative synergy, our work laid a robust foundation for the brand’s creative evolution.
