As a UI/UX Designer, I worked on redesigning the Institut Teknologi Telkom Surabaya website to attract more prospective students. Over two months (May–June), I followed a structured redesign process inspired by Taras Bakusevych’s guide, covering user research, competitor analysis, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing using Figma, FigJam, and Zoom. The process involved identifying user pain points, defining personas, exploring design solutions, and executing a modern, visually appealing, and intuitive interface while maintaining the university’s values. Despite challenges like communication gaps with developers and stakeholder alignment, the redesign led to an increase in website traffic and engagement. 🚀
