Performing Umrah is not just a journey of movement, it’s a journey of the heart.

The Umrah Planner & Journal was created to help Muslims prepare spiritually, emotionally, and practically for their pilgrimage, while deepening their connection with Allah throughout the process.

This project combines faith-based reflection, mindful planning, and personal growth into one cohesive digital product.

The planner is divided into seven main sections, each guiding the pilgrim step by step:

Building Hope & Intention: A reflective space to explore one’s intention, write personal du’as, and visualize the spiritual purpose behind the journey.

Saving & Financial Strategy: Practical planning tools for budgeting, saving goals, and financial reflections — encouraging halal, mindful spending.

Learning About Umrah: Essential educational content that explains the meaning, rituals, and spiritual values behind Umrah.

Umrah Planning: Includes travel agency comparison tables, itinerary planning, document preparation, and packing checklists.

Spiritual & Physical Preparation: A holistic routine builder: Qur’an reading tracker, daily dhikr, Tahajjud plan, fasting schedule, and even self-care reminders like hydration, sleep, and digital detox.

While in the Holy Land: Daily worship planner, place visit notes, etiquette reminders, and reflection pages for emotional journaling while in Mecca and Medina.

Post-Umrah Self-Evaluation: A powerful space for deep reflection — encouraging pilgrims to internalize their experiences and set new spiritual goals after returning home.​​​​​​​

Goal: To create a planner that blends faith and functionality.

The design aims for clarity, serenity, and spiritual warmth — using soft neutral colors, modern Arabic typography accents, and clean layouts that make journaling feel sacred yet approachable.
