Objective
The primary objective of this project was to create a captivating animation that celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Nansen Dialog Center Skopje's Training Center. The animation aimed to promote the values of intercultural education and highlight the center's commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion.
Context
This project was commissioned by the Nansen Dialog Center Skopje, an NGO dedicated to promoting dialogue and understanding among different cultural groups. The center's Training Center has been a cornerstone in their mission, providing educational programs and resources for the past decade. The animation serves both as a commemoration of their achievements and as a promotional tool to raise awareness about their ongoing efforts.
Problems Addressed
The project sought to address the challenge of visually conveying the center's impact and the importance of intercultural education in a dynamic and engaging manner. The goal was to create an animation that would resonate with diverse audiences and effectively communicate the center's message.
Solution
The creative process involved several key steps:
Storyboard Creation: I began by crafting a detailed storyboard to outline each scene visually and narratively, ensuring a coherent and engaging flow.
Photoshop Editing & Scene Design: Designed and edited the scenes in Photoshop, focusing on creating visually appealing compositions that align with the project's theme.
Animation in Adobe After Effects: Brought the scenes to life using Adobe After Effects, incorporating dynamic movements and transitions.
Post-Production in Adobe Premiere Pro: Refined the animation in Adobe Premiere Pro, ensuring a polished final product and editing the background music to complement the visuals.
Learnings
Working on this project reinforced the importance of meticulous planning and attention to detail, particularly in the storyboard creation and scene design phases. It also highlighted the value of using dynamic animation techniques to enhance storytelling and engage viewers.
