Joining the Ranger Ready Repellents team, I embarked on a thrilling adventure with just six passionate individuals, united by a singular mission: to revolutionize the mundane bug spray industry by creating an innovative product people would actually want to wear. Starting from the ground up, we set out to challenge the status quo.
We celebrated our first independent retailer sale in July 2018, which prompted the design of our very first point-of-sale display, one of many packaging projects to come as we launched six new products in under four years.
As summer rolled on, the “Don’t DEET” campaign was born. Encouraging people to ditch DEET and opt for our Picaridin-based repellents, it struck a chord, sparking hundreds of thousands of engagements through views, comments, and shares. Ranger Ready transformed into a content machine, conquering crucial platforms and dominating SEO keywords, even against industry giants.
