AI vs Human Copywriting: A 10-Round Showdown

A long-form comparison piece from my own site, structured as a 10-round boxing match between me and ChatGPT — speed, brand voice, SEO, emotional connection, consistency, strategic thinking, cost, originality, conversion focus, and trust. Final scorecard: human copy, 7; AI, 2; one tie.
Most "AI vs human copy" content is either a listicle or a defensive rant. This one works because it doesn't cheat the comparison.
I gave ChatGPT real prompts against real sections of my own site copy, and let AI win rounds where it actually should: speed, and consistency across high-volume generic pages.
That's the difference between a piece that's persuasive because it's honest versus one that's persuasive because it's one-sided — a reader trusts the 7-2 scorecard more because it isn't 10-0.
The format also does double duty: it's entertainment (boxing conceit, "weighing in at..." intros) stacked on top of a genuine argument about where AI helps and where it doesn't, aimed at small business owners deciding whether to hire a copywriter or lean on ChatGPT.
