Did research for two weeks looking into current content trends and discovered that accounts that went live once or twice a week had a larger growth curve than those that did not prioritize connecting with their audience in a live format.
I use my personal influencer account to experiment with different social media strategies on my audience to see what works in real-time before having my clients try them out.
I started reaching out to influencers with a larger following than mine and asked if they would collab and go live with me. They did! It was not only a great way to connect with the community and audience I wanted to bring into my content, but it also showed Instagram that I was someone in the community that people wanted to see and I started showing up on the discover page more frequently which pushed people towards my account.
I worked on my photography setup and started a Youtube channel and TikTok account as well to start sending more traffic to my account.
Recently I have been experimenting with optimal posting times and frequency of posts per week. So far my research points to 3-5 times a week on your feed, 5 stories a day, and going live 2-3 times a week sets me up for optimal exposure to my existing and potential audience.
I hope this example illustrates what developing a strategy and brand looks like when done from scratch, and how I test out new trends and social media advice I get through courses, podcasts, and coaching.
