Designers Book...

Objective:The main objective of this project was to design a book/magazine celebrating the best designers in Spain. The focus was not only on showcasing their works but also on experimenting with diverse layouts, maintaining a clean and simple aesthetic.

Context:This project was undertaken independently to explore the design landscape of Spain and showcase creative minds shaping the country's design industry.

Problem Statement:The challenge was to present a diverse range of designers, each with a unique style, in a way that felt cohesive and visually appealing.

1. Research and Curation:Extensive research was conducted to identify and select the most influential and innovative designs from each designer.

2. Layout Exploration:Initially, individual pages were designed to feature each designer. However, during the design process, the decision was made to shift to spreads. This allowed for more dynamic and interconnected layouts.

3. Visual Aesthetic:A simple and clean aesthetic was chosen to provide a timeless and sophisticated look. Experimentation with fonts played a crucial role in achieving readability and visual interest.

4. Iterative Design:Numerous iterations were made, experimenting with different grid systems, image placements, and font combinations. Feedback from peers and design enthusiasts played a huge role in refining the layouts and ensuring they were visually compelling.

The designed book/magazine was published digitally and in print, making it accessible to a wide audience. Social media platforms were utilized to generate interest and showcase snippets of the visually stunning spreads. The publication aimed to not only celebrate Spanish designers but also inspire the next generation of creatives.
