This independent interior designer needed a new logo to better communicate her abilities and brand. Previously using a generic, script type of the business name as their logo, they wanted something that showed not only their design abilities but also their construction and remodeling services.

I worked with them to identify the brands and logos they liked and what they liked about them. Since they offer custom art and other bespoke services, I wanted to make sure it still conveyed a unique and creative way of thinking. Still, it needed to be crisp and bold to capture attention and appeal to and instill confidence in construction companies and contractors. I found that these contractors were her primary audience, not the end consumer.

The result was a house silhouette with a tape measure style shadow conveying depth. The bold and thick lines are slightly softened with the rounded corners of the frame and the typeface chosen similarly shows solidity and strength with a hint of art deco flair.
