Stitch Space approached us before the platform had launched. The goal was to build trust and demand early, then turn social attention into real users from day one.
The platform was designed as a marketplace for independent sewing pattern designers and sewing enthusiasts. That meant the content had to serve both sides of the community while making the product easy to understand.
We began with competitor research, audience personas, platform selection, content pillars, and a focused pre-launch calendar for Instagram and TikTok.
Content production started during the first week. We built a varied system using educational carousels, single-image posts, short-form videos, sewing tutorials, and product-led stories.
Instead of talking only about the upcoming marketplace, we published useful content that sewists would want to save, share, and follow before the product was available.
Within the first month, one of the short-form videos went viral. That early signal helped us identify the topics and presentation styles that could attract the right audience at scale.
As launch approached, the content shifted toward anticipation and conversion. We introduced Stitch Space clearly, highlighted its value for designers and sewists, and gave the audience specific reasons to join.
We also built a ManyChat campaign offering three free sewing patterns in exchange for registration. This connected social engagement directly to platform sign-ups.
Before launch, Stitch Space had already built an audience of approximately 1,000 followers on Instagram and 1,000 followers on TikTok.
The launch period brought more than 1,000 users onto the platform.
TikTok grew to 2,000 followers and generated 343,000 post views, 15,500 likes, 3,000 profile visits, 155 comments, and 1,260 shares.
Instagram grew to 4,688 followers, generated 336,178 views, and reached 217,764 accounts.
Together, the two channels built a community of more than 6,600 followers and gave Stitch Space a credible audience before and during its market launch.
The most important result was not reach alone. The content helped turn an unknown pre-launch platform into a recognizable destination with real users, active community interest, and a repeatable foundation for continued growth.
