I worked with an upcoming author on their Middle Grade Magic Realism series of a Merlin retelling from January to February 2024. The manuscripts ranged from 56,000-76,000 words each, and I provided a full beta reader report for each manuscript.

My beta reader reports ranged in length from 3,000-4,400 words each and focused on the overall points of storytelling: plot development, character development, dialogue, style/voice, setting, POV, and pacing. I included individual page numbers or chapters where applicable for suggestions on improvements, clarification, or consistency. We established a strong and friendly professional relationship to ensure his series stayed consistent and entertaining from start to finish.
