Brand Identity and Marketing for Stuff App

Overview
Stuff is a task manager for people who actually get things done. Built by indie developer Austin Blake, the app needed a complete visual identity that could stand out in a market dominated by polished but sterile productivity tools. The goal was to build something with real personality without sacrificing clarity or function.
Brand Identity
The brand system was built around a bold, saturated palette anchored by Stuff Yellow (#F6DE3B) with supporting tones in sky blue, teal, purple, and pink against a deep near-black dark mode base. National 2 Bold was chosen as the primary typeface for its chunky, confident character. A custom sticker icon system was developed to give the brand a tactile, playful quality that feels human and distinct. The logo lockup pairs the Stuff wordmark with a checkmark motif that nods to task completion without being literal.
Landing Page
The landing page carries the full brand energy through the hero, with the headline "Built for people who actually do things" using the keyword pill treatment as a core typographic device. The layout balances the bold visual direction with clear conversion goals.
App Store Screenshots
30 screenshots were designed across iPhone (1290x2796px), iPad (2048x2732px), and Mac (2880x1800px). Each frame follows a consistent system: neutral white base, bold National 2 headline, saturated keyword pill, device mockup, and sticker accents. Features covered include dependencies, scan to capture, shared lists, today card, adventure log, widgets, someday tasks, in progress, and the full lists view.
