For the United Nations OCHA exhibition “One Day, I Will” at Osaka World Expo 2025, the design challenge was to create a poster that conveyed children’s aspirations for the future while embodying a sense of hope and optimism. The goal was to welcome visitors with a visual that reflected the spirit of the exhibition and the inspiring photography of Vincent Tremeau.
To achieve this, I developed a Japanese-inspired design that integrates bold red tones, chosen for their cultural resonance and emotional impact. The color palette was carefully balanced to evoke warmth, love, and joy, while maintaining a strong visual presence. The composition was crafted to feel striking yet approachable, channeling the energy of children’s future dreams into a cohesive visual identity.
The final poster (on the left) was placed prominently at the exhibition entrance, serving as the first point of engagement for visitors. Its vibrant and uplifting mood not only drew attention but also encouraged curiosity and smiles, subtly reinforcing OCHA’s vision and mission while enhancing the overall exhibition experience.
