Challenge
A veteran-run eco-space operates several lake-side locations across Kyiv, each with gazebos that visitors rent for a whole day. The organisation needed a website that tells its story and the founder’s mission, and a booking flow simple enough for anyone: pick a location and a date, see the price, pay online and get a confirmation by email. Payments had to reach a separate merchant account for each location.
Solution
I ran the project end to end, turning the brief into functional requirements and a design guide before writing code. The public site is Laravel with Inertia and Vue 3, server-side rendered for speed and SEO; staff manage locations, gazebos, bookings and content in a Filament admin. Payments go through plata by mono with per-location routing, confirmations through Mailgun, media through Cloudflare R2, and Turnstile blocks spam. It runs in Docker Compose behind Caddy on DigitalOcean, monitored by GlitchTip.
