Challenge

Europ Assistance Polska’s IT department supports the workstations of alarm-centre staff. A failure report is only useful with technical context: which machine, which user, what IP configuration, how fast the connection is and what the screen showed. IT also had to know whether employees had acknowledged its notifications. The team wanted every report in one place with diagnostics attached, and sign-in tied to existing Active Directory accounts.

Solution

Reports arrive through a token-protected Laravel API: user, hostname, IP, complaint text, screenshot, raw ipconfig output and measured internet speed. The Vue 2 dashboard groups them by user or by hostname, with search, filter sets, a colour legend for notification acknowledgement (today, not today, over 24 hours), screenshot and ipconfig pop-ups and drag-and-drop ordering. Staff sign in with Active Directory credentials via Adldap2, and API tokens are Argon-hashed. I led the build, which shipped in two months.

Colour legend for notification acknowledgement; drag-and-drop ordering
Active Directory sign-in (Adldap2); Docker environment, seeds, migrations

Outcome
