Europ Assistance self-service portals

Challenge

Europ Assistance Polska runs assistance programmes for banks and insurers such as Credit Agricole, Millennium, Generali, Warta and Europa Ubezpieczenia. Each programme needed its own browser channel next to the Messenger bots: request home, medical or roadside help, call the alarm centre, verify the policy and check an open case. Building and maintaining about ten separate sites was not an option, and most users arrive from a phone right after an incident.

Solution

We built one Vue 2 single-page app with a Laravel web-services layer. The subdomain selects the partner from a config that sets its title, colours, logo, alarm-centre phone, back-office ID, available flows and verification mode: national ID number (PESEL), policy number or user name. Step-by-step wizards cover home repairs with photos, medical symptoms and roadside problems, and a separate view shows case status by number. The API handles image uploads and CORS and runs on nginx or IIS. I designed the architecture and led the backend.
