The Salad Bar is the first salad-centric restaurant in London, offering a vibrant mix of signature and customizable salads, grilled cheese, handcrafted sauces, breakfast salads, and healthy desserts. The brand combines fresh, premium ingredients with a colorful, cosmopolitan identity. The project was to design a homepage that reflects their personality while guiding users seamlessly to place an order.

My task was to design a high-converting, visually engaging homepage for The Salad Bar. The goal was to showcase their unique offerings — from salads to sauces — while creating a smooth flow that highlights what makes them different, builds trust, and drives users to order online or visit in person.

I began with research into competitor restaurant websites and healthy food brands to identify best practices in food ordering experiences. From there, I mapped out the site flow to balance storytelling and conversion. Visually, I leaned into a fresh, colorful aesthetic with vibrant photography, clean typography, and playful layouts that reflect the cosmopolitan, premium, yet accessible personality of the brand.

The final homepage design delivers a smooth user journey , from discovery to ordering , while embodying the vibrant and healthy spirit of The Salad Bar. Every section balances clarity and persuasion, ensuring customers not only explore but are encouraged to take action, whether ordering for themselves, a group, or taking home a bottle of dressing.
