OVERVIEW
A self-initiated Notion template demo for tracking dental lab cases from intake through production, quality control and remake follow-up. All sample case records are fictional.
WORKFLOW GOAL
Give the team a clear view of what arrived, what is in production, what needs a quality check, what is on hold and what is ready for delivery. Due dates and the next handoff stay visible.
WORKSPACE STRUCTURE
The workspace includes an Intake Desk, Due Date Review, Case Notes, QC & Remakes, Delivery Desk, Workflow Rules and a Database Library. A case gallery gives a quick overview; the Production Board shows stages such as Design, Milling / Print, On Hold, Ready to Ship and Delivered.
TYPICAL CASE FLOW
Capture the new case and flag missing intake details, such as a prescription or shade decision.
Set the due date and move the case through its production stage.
Record the quality-control outcome; if work needs a remake, keep the reason and follow-up with the case.
Mark delivery and keep the final handoff visible.
DESIGN DECISIONS
Keep intake, production status, quality checks and remake follow-up connected to the same case. Highlight due dates and blocked work so the team can see the next action before delivery.
DEMO BOUNDARIES
This self-initiated template uses fictional demo cases. It is an administrative workflow example, not clinical guidance, proof of a client result or a connection to external lab software.
