I designed a mobile extension of a nonprofit data platform to support schools and community programmes. The app focused on offline access, modular workflows, and simplicity, enabling staff to capture reliable data in low-bandwidth environments with minimal training.
Context
A nonprofit platform needed a mobile extension of their existing data system. The goal was to enable staff in schools and community programmes to record tasks, attendance, and progress on the ground — even in low-bandwidth environments with limited connectivity.
Challenge
The existing desktop platform was too complex for staff in the field, and manual record-keeping often led to errors. The team needed a mobile-first solution that could support attendance, task tracking, and reporting, while remaining intuitive for users with varying levels of digital literacy.
Approach
Conducted stakeholder interviews to uncover workflow pain points.
Audited existing platform UX and identified gaps for mobile.
Designed user flows, wireframes, and prototypes in Figma.
Built components using Ant Design System for consistency.
Collaborated with developers on variables, handoff, and documentation.
Outcome
Delivered a scalable, user-friendly mobile app now in development.
Improved clarity of task management and attendance tracking for schools.
Established a dev-ready design system, reducing implementation time.
Created a repeatable design process for future NGO and government modules.
Project Visuals

Built on Ant Design to keep dev handoff consistent.
Used for walkthroughs with stakeholders and devs.
Testing various components and interactions
Brand-neutral design ready for scale and reuse.
