Helped The Mom Trotter organize and grow their social media platforms with organic content. The Mom Trotter's social media is all about Full-time RV Travel, International travel, and homeschooling.
Problem & Solution 🤝
The Mom Trotter has been writing blog posts and producing social media content since 2016. Recently, she has been struggling to organize, repurpose, and post all the content to her pages by herself.
Goals/Requirements: My goal coming into this social media manager role was to:
• Organize over 1,000 pieces of content from 2016 to present
• Create new content to be posted daily on all social media platforms
• Repurpose existing content onto other platforms
Process 🛣
1) Brainstormed the major problem areas, including organizing all the data, which videos/content had already been posted, and how to work new posts around sponsored or branded content.
2) Curated a content calendar in Notion using different templates to demonstrate which piece of content went out on what date.
3) Use Google Sheets to organize which videos still need to go out and systemize the scheduling process.
4) Scheduled all videos, static posts, stories, and quotes to go out at the most optimum times on each platform.
Results 🎁
Successfully systemized and organized over 1500 pieces of content to be redistributed to multiple platforms in less than 30 days.
Takeaways 📣
Having systems in place for your social media is key, especially when you have lots of content being produced from multiple platforms.
Also, it is ok to reuse old content! Don't think that a video on TikTok can't be converted to a Tweet on Twitter.
