Brand Visuals Breakdown:
The client wanted something bold with an organic feel that almost feels like a skater brand. He wanted something welcoming, bright and organic like a California beach. The client truly loves the famous Santa Cruz logo and wanted something similar but with a Venice flair.
Breakwater Pools is named after the famous Venice Breakwater in Los Angeles, California. There is a rich surf history there and this is the general area my client serves. It was where he grew up and holds a special place in his heart. After we got off the call it was clear we needed to incorporate a wave to represent this great area.
The bubbly font is inviting and continues that organic feel from the logo mark. For the pattern, we wanted to create the feeling of summer. We achieved this by creating styled icons that instantly transport you to the summer season. Feels like you're at the beach with your friends.
