Project Overview

The Laneway is Melbourne Airport’s marketplace platform which allows passengers to shop online and purchase goods (via a ‘Click and Collect’ service) from participating retailers located at Melbourne Airport (each, a Vendor).

Analysed the client (Melbourne’s Airport) main site to design an e-commerce platform that complies with their brand guidelines to help enforce brand consistency between the client’s services.

Created responsive visual prototypes for multiple viewports for mobile and desktop.

Created a dark and light mode that complies with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0

Problem

Arriving/departing passengers need to buy duty free items at Melbourne Airport but wants to save time as shopping at airport can be time-consuming and stressful

Solution

Laneway by Melbourne Airport solves this by letting customers buy up to 2 months in advance, afterwards the customers can just collect their items at the collection points in Melbourne Airport
