For Switch Bank, Iraq’s biggest neo-bank, I crafted the UI/UX for their Virtual Credit/Debit Card and an engaging Lifestyle Dashboard—designed to make banking more than just transactions. This dashboard unlocks a world of exclusive perks across categories like Entertainment, Health, Business, Food, and more.

🔹 The Challenge: How do you turn a banking app into something people actually enjoy using? The goal was to create a seamless virtual card experience while making the lifestyle perks feel like a bonus, not an afterthought.

🔍 How I Started User Research:

Stakeholder Interviews: I began by speaking with key stakeholders from Switch Bank to understand their vision, business goals, and the specific features they wanted to highlight in the dashboard.

User Persona Development: Based on initial insights, I identified different user segments—ranging from young professionals to business travelers—and created personas to guide the design decisions.

Surveys & Questionnaires: To gather quantitative data, I rolled out short surveys targeting existing Switch Bank users. This helped me identify pain points in the current experience and what features they’d like to see in the new dashboard.

Competitive Analysis: I analyzed other neo-banking apps and fintech platforms to understand industry trends, best practices, and potential design gaps we could capitalize on.

Usability Testing of Early Concepts: Even in the wireframe stage, I conducted quick usability tests to validate navigation flows and feature placements, ensuring the dashboard was easy to use.

This research-driven approach allowed me to design a dashboard that not only looks great but also solves real user problems, making the Switch Bank experience more seamless and rewarding.
