Charts for Digital Guru

Digital Guru publishes public research across topics including tourism, municipal service satisfaction, and other civic and consumer subjects based on social media data analysis. I worked on turning their collected data into visual stories to illustrate the publications.

For each research topic, I proposed chart formats and visual approaches suited to the structure of the data and the key point the research needed to communicate. The goal was to make the findings legible and compelling without flattening the underlying nuance.

I used R and D3 to prototype data visualizations quickly, testing chart structures and compositions before final production. I then refined each graphic in Adobe Illustrator, handling labels, hierarchy, styling, and final layout for publication.
