Overview
The project aimed to rebrand and redevelop the legacy Brilliant Distinctions iOS and Android apps, enhancing user experience, modernizing the tech stack, and aligning with the consumer-centric vision of Allergan Aesthetics and the Allē brand.
I led the Mobile team to design, develop, and launch the Allē iOS and Android apps, focusing on improving usability, addressing user pain points, and ensuring a seamless transition to a more efficient and scalable technology stack.
The Work
Conducted interviews and usability testing that leads to product enhancements that reduces complexity and improves usability.
Developed a clear product vision and detailed roadmap, aligning business goals with delivery
Managed design and development deliverables, while aligning business needs with legal and compliance
Managed the cutover of the new Allē apps from Brilliant Distinctions and set up performance metrics to measure impact
Collaborated with marketing and support teams to promote, train, and identify potential issues with triage procedures
Results
Successful development and launch of rebranded iOS and Android apps from Brilliant Distinctions to Allē
Improved user satisfaction: iOS rating surged from 2.9 to 4.9 stars and Android 2.65 to 4.5 stars with 264k monthly active users
A modernized and resilient tech stack with integration to Datadog and FullStory for analytics
Decreased friction for critical user flows, increasing new user signups and retention
The launch of the Allē apps ensure a strong foundation for future capabilities.
