Website Development, Subscription Service Launch, and Team Leadership
During my time at BeautyCon, I tackled key digital initiatives. I handled the development and maintenance of their main company website using WordPress. A significant project involved launching the “BFF Box,” their quarterly subscription service.
This required not just technical input but also leadership; I spearheaded the team effort for the subscription platform build-out. A core component was a custom WordPress/WooCommerce plugin designed for quarterly billing and user sign-ups, the development of which I managed with an overseas team. Getting these projects over the line involved close collaboration with BeautyCon’s owners and leadership, ensuring the technical solutions aligned with their business goals.
