Client Profile

Popp Chains is an energetic brand dealing in bold, oversized necklaces targeting all sports fans of whatever gender. Being capable of being white-labeled to fit any industry, Popp Chains puts both fashion and fandom together to offer a unique accessory that will enable the fans to express their loyalty in an enormous way. The customization aspect is the ideal selling point for this brand; business operations, events, and teams can customize the chains for their specific uses.

Challenge

Popp Chains sought to enter an already competitive American sports accessories with a bold and memorable product that is as versatile as possible in accommodating as wide an audience as possible. The challenge was to be placed in such a light that it was fashionable and functional, making a statement among die-hard sports fans while appealing to organizations for unique promotional merchandise. This meant that Popp Chains needed to:

Differentiate itself from traditional fan merchandise.

Develop a brand identity that in fact was both personal expression and mass appeal.

Design a product that in small quantity could be customized to fulfill the requirements of a diverse group of sports teams and industries.

Goals:

Increase brand awareness: Just introduce Popp Chains to the American market and create some buzz around this super unique concept of expressive, oversized necklaces for fans.

Drive sales: Sustain demand for the standard line and white-labeled products for businesses, events, and sports teams.

Build Fan Loyalty: Help the fan understand that he/she owns his/her fan's pride- creating a community who identify Popp Chains as their accessory for sporting events, concerts and any other fan-driven experience.
