When I was briefed on the Clinique iD launch project, the challenge was to create an interactive and engaging way for users to figure out their unique Clinique iD. We needed to make the complex science of customized skincare feel intuitive and approachable through digital design.

I designed an interactive module that breaks down the customization process into three simple steps: choose your base, select your active concentrate, and reveal your custom-blend solution. Taking inspiration from the product's innovative design, I created a clean, minimal interface that uses white space and carefully composed product photography to guide users through their selection journey.

What makes this project special is how it transforms a potentially overwhelming choice into an elegant, step-by-step experience. I broke away from traditional full-width modules to create a more dynamic grid system that helps users quickly grasp the formulation options. The visual hierarchy emphasizes the transformation from individual ingredients to final custom product, making the science behind skincare feel accessible and exciting. The result was an engaging digital experience that not only showcased Clinique's innovation but also made personalized skincare feel effortless and intuitive. The clean design aesthetic and straightforward user flow helped turn a complex product story into an enjoyable discovery process.
