IKIGAI 🐉 · Japanese thermal bottles: brand, brandbook & e-commerce
IKIGAI is a concept brand of thermal bottles illustrated with Japanese art: cranes, cherry blossoms and gold leaf. Instead of competing on "hours hot or cold", the brand sells a daily ritual: a bottle that feels like a small piece of art.
What I did: • Concept & naming: Ikigai (生き甲斐), "a reason to begin the day" • Mini brandbook: logo and hanko seal, palette, typography, Japanese motifs, photography and tone of voice • A seven-piece collection, each design with its own name and symbol • A complete online store: video hero, product page with bundles and care info, slide-out bag and demo checkout • Instagram feed and a lifestyle campaign • AI visuals: product images, 3D cherry blossom, fan and origami crane illustrations, and a looping hero video
The design keeps it calm: washi paper textures, lots of white space and subtle details like an ensō circle, seigaiha waves and vertical kanji.
