Python GUI and Automation Expert, Clean Code, Fast Delivery
The goal was to develop a Python desktop application that goes beyond basic cryptocurrency price tracking by combining market monitoring, technical analysis, and strategy research in a unified interface.
I built Pulse Quant using Python and Tkinter, with interactive financial charts and a dark, modern UI. The application integrates public Binance market data, candlestick visualizations, EMA trend analysis, RSI momentum monitoring, market-regime classification, and rule-based BUY/SELL/HOLD signal explanations. It also includes a strategy backtesting interface with configurable RSI thresholds, simulated transaction fees and slippage, performance metrics, and a strategy-versus-buy-and-hold comparison.
One of the main challenges was presenting multiple analytical components without overcrowding the interface. I refined the layout, adjusted chart proportions, improved panel spacing, and resolved clipped headings to create a cleaner, more cohesive desktop experience. I also incorporated demo mode and CSV export to support offline exploration and data analysis.
The result is a single-file Python application that brings market visualization and strategy experimentation together in an accessible research workspace, demonstrating practical desktop development, analytical logic, and UI design. Commissioning Tracker & Analytics Dashboard
Developed and enhanced a web-based commissioning tracker and analytics dashboard designed to help monitor asset statuses, tag completion, planned progress, and actual performance across L1 Red Tags, L2 Yellow Tags, and L3 Blue Tags.
Challenge: The project required organizing large amounts of commissioning data into an accessible dashboard while supporting spreadsheet-based updates, multi-level progress tracking, and clear visual comparisons. A key debugging issue involved L2 and L3 actual S-Curves stopping at the TODAY marker while the L1 curve continued into future dates.
Solution: Enhanced the dashboard with interactive filters, dynamic summary cards, system and vendor breakdowns, working-week matrices, Excel upload and parsing, Planned-versus-Actual reporting, and combined or individual S-Curve views. Implemented progress indicators, chart legends, date-based visualization, and comment tracking. Investigated the S-Curve issue by tracing the rendering logic and identifying how zero or missing future cumulative-actual values affected curve continuity.
Project Positioning: A data-driven commissioning dashboard combining web development Excel integration, interactive reporting, and progress visualization to make complex project information easier to monitor and analyze.
