May is ready for their next project!

I finally get to share something I've been pouring my heart into over the past week. For the Squarespace Make It Real Challenge, I built LuminHer Designs—my boutique creative studio focused on thoughtful brand identity, website design, and digital assets. My goal wasn't just to build a website, but to create an experience that felt warm, intentional, and editorial while exploring Squarespace's Finish Layer tools through subtle animations, responsive layouts, and layered design. This is honestly just the beginning. Like any creative business, LuminHer will continue to evolve, and I already have a list of ideas I can't wait to add. But today, I'm celebrating this milestone and how far it's come. 💛 Take a look: Temporary Website: https://gazelle-turtle-79ad.squarespace.com P.S. My custom domain (luminherdesigns.com (http://luminherdesigns.com)) is currently transferring and will be live soon! I'd love to hear what you think! ✨

🚀 Just wrapped up one of the most ambitious creative projects I've built this year: Nocti. Nocti started as a simple idea—a desktop AI companion—but quickly became an exploration of storytelling, branding, character design, UX, and AI-assisted development. What surprised me most wasn't the final result. It was the process. ✨ More than 50 character iterations before Nocti finally felt right. 🎨 Countless design refinements to create a cohesive visual identity. 💬 Rewriting interactions so the experience felt thoughtful instead of robotic. 🧠 Learning new workflows with AI tools, GitHub, React + Vite, and modern creative pipelines along the way. This project reminded me that good design isn't about the first idea—it's about refining the hundred little decisions that make something feel intentional. Whether or not Nocti wins anything, I'm genuinely proud of how much I learned while building it. If you'd like to see the project, I'd love to hear what you think: https://devpost.com/software/nocti-4elx1p?ref_content=my-projects-tab&ref_feature=my_projects What's one project that taught you more than you expected?

Cover image for The best prompt I wrote
The best prompt I wrote wasn't a prompt. It was a sketch. For the Contra × Envato Human by Design Challenge, I wanted to explore what happens when human creativity leads and AI follows. I started with a Moodboard, explored countless AI generations, and realized something: They had the substance but they didn't have the heart. AI helped refine the artwork, but the vision, personality, and decisions behind Nocti were always human. Meet Nocti. My submission for the Contra × Envato Human by Design Challenge. 🌙✨

Cover image for 🔥 Design is more than
🔥 Design is more than making things look pretty. One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that good design builds trust before it ever makes a sale. The "before" examples aren't necessarily bad, they're simply missing intention. Strong typography, visual hierarchy, consistency, and thoughtful composition can completely change how a brand is perceived. Whether I'm designing a social media system, a brand identity, or exploring new creative ideas, I always ask myself: "How do I want someone to feel when they see this?" What immediately builds trust for you when you discover a new brand?

Cover image for Sometimes the best way to
Sometimes the best way to grow as a designer is to create for brands you admire. I challenged myself to design a mini social media campaign for a local coffee shop, focusing on a warm, inviting brand experience across multiple posts. The goal wasn't just to make individual graphics. It was to create a cohesive campaign that could live together on a social feed. This project pushed me to think about: ☕ Brand consistency ☕ Typography ☕ Promotional marketing ☕ Lifestyle storytelling

Midnight Accord is an interactive dark-romance dossier experience built in Omma by Spline. The concept began as a secret society archive where players are invited into a private chamber and given access to classified files. From there, they can explore six character dossiers, initiate secure lines, and move through visual-novel inspired dialogue choices. I wanted the experience to feel like entering a forbidden archive: elegant, mysterious, cinematic, and a little dangerous. The visual style blends matte gothic luxury, antique gold UI, dark romantic atmosphere, dossier-style navigation, atmospheric audio, and character-focused storytelling. I imagined Midnight Accord as the opening prototype for an otome/visual novel experience where each character route could expand into deeper conversations, secrets, relationship choices, and long-term mystery. This project was built during the challenge window in Omma Canvas, using interactive page routing, custom layouts, hover effects, mobile-friendly pages, and Omma Studio-generated assets/audio. I focused on making it feel like more than a static gallery. Every page connects into a playable flow, from the landing page to the invitation, chamber, intelligence files, secure lines, dialogue choices, and connection lost screens. What if your favorite love story was only one click away from being rewritten? Loading... explores the idea that every story begins with a prompt. I wanted viewers to believe they were watching a genuine romance before discovering it was only one AI-generated possibility. The film was planned in Renoise Canvas, created with Renoise AI, and assembled in Clipchamp.
