Put myself on a crazy sprint to ship 3 web apps in 30 days (all with AI features)! A game, a newsletter creator, and a resume builder. Here's how it went:

Hiring fatigue is here. Tons of AI edited resumes blocking ATS pipelines. And I may have contributed to the problem 😂 Built an easy way to optimize your resume with any job post... I know everybody's doing this with their favorite AI tool now but I focused on the UX to make it 100x faster and easier to do so. In a a few months time I'll release a solution for recruiters to get around this AI resume problem.

Am I the only one who feels overwhelmed with all the AI updates? I don't know.. feels like you just can't keep up. My old fix: subscribe to half a dozen newsletters about AI. That didn't work. In fact I got more FOMO getting dropped 20 links at a time! Then I realized I don't really care about everything in AI. Just maybe model updates, startup funding, and AI generated videos. So here's my new fix: I built a newsletter creator that sends me AI updates about those topics and those topics only. And oh - I could choose how the AI writes it and when it lands on my email. Here's the behind the scenes at how I built ainews.email (http://ainews.email)

A trivia game was the first project I built back when I was learning React. I didn't care much about design, I just wanted it to work. Since then, I’ve built over a dozen projects now gathering dust on GitHub. This month, I’m redesigning and relaunching them. Why?
Because I’ve learned (the hard way) that building isn’t the hard part anymore- distribution is. Anyone can build with a $20 AI subscription; the real challenge is getting users.
So I’m using these old projects as experiments to learn 20+ distribution channels (Product Hunt, Reddit, SEO, ads, etc.) and level up my design, UX, and storytelling skills along the way.
First up: Triviafy. Quiz yourself on any topic. Free, and powered by Ollama. Used @figma to wireframe the new designs :) Available at https://triviafy.pages.dev/?utm_source=contra
