A trivia game was the first project I built back when I was learning React. I didn't care much about design, I just wanted it to work. Since then, I’ve built over a dozen projects now gathering dust on GitHub. This month, I’m redesigning and relaunching them. Why?
Because I’ve learned (the hard way) that building isn’t the hard part anymore- distribution is. Anyone can build with a $20 AI subscription; the real challenge is getting users.
So I’m using these old projects as experiments to learn 20+ distribution channels (Product Hunt, Reddit, SEO, ads, etc.) and level up my design, UX, and storytelling skills along the way.
First up: Triviafy. Quiz yourself on any topic. Free, and powered by Ollama. Used @figma to wireframe the new designs :) Available at https://triviafy.pages.dev/?utm_source=contra
