Full-Stack Software Engineer | Next.js · TypeScript
Yehia Tech is an Arabic-first learning platform for software developers. I’ve worked on it since 2024 as a full-stack engineer, owning features end to end from database design to production.
What I built:
• Course delivery, learner dashboards, and progress tracking
• Quizzes, assessments, and interactive coding challenges
• Authentication, REST APIs, and product analytics with PostHog
• End-to-end tests with Playwright and deployment on Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL)
The whole product is designed RTL-first, so layouts, typography, and navigation feel native in Arabic rather than translated. Today it serves 3,500+ learners.

The original platform was built on .NET and MariaDB, and I’ve been working as a freelance full-stack developer on rebuilding it with a modern stack.
What I worked on:
• Rebuilding the application in Next.js, TypeScript, and Prisma
• Planning the migration of a large production database from MariaDB to PostgreSQL, including schema redesign, data transformation, integrity checks, and rollback steps
• Using AI-assisted code analysis to map the existing business logic before porting it
• Setting up Docker, GitHub Actions CI/CD, and staging environments on DigitalOcean

I’ve been working on it as a freelance full-stack developer since 2025.
What I worked on:
• Building and improving frontend features in Next.js
• Developing and integrating APIs with NestJS
• Working with the MongoDB data layer behind the library’s catalog
• Investigating and fixing production issues across the stack while keeping the platform fast and stable under heavy traffic
Stack: Next.js, React, TypeScript, NestJS, Node.js, MongoDB Insights is my graduation project from Ain Shams University (2024): a web tool that lets users upload datasets, explore them, and find insights through statistics, interactive charts, and machine learning model results.
I built the frontend, including:
• Dataset upload with drag and drop, plus a paginated data grid
• Interactive charts powered by filter APIs
• Statistics pages and ML model result views
• Sign-up, sign-in, and JWT authentication with protected routes
• Form validation with React Hook Form and Yup
