Al Raq Al Manshur is a digital catalog of Eastern manuscripts used by researchers worldwide. The original platform was built on .NET and MariaDB, and I’ve been working as a freelance full-stack developer on rebuilding it with a modern stack.
What I worked on: • Rebuilding the application in Next.js, TypeScript, and Prisma • Planning the migration of a large production database from MariaDB to PostgreSQL, including schema redesign, data transformation, integrity checks, and rollback steps • Using AI-assisted code analysis to map the existing business logic before porting it • Setting up Docker, GitHub Actions CI/CD, and staging environments on DigitalOcean
Stack: Next.js, TypeScript, Prisma, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Docker, GitHub Actions, DigitalOcean
