Kae is ready for their next project!
I'm taking freelance work again, and this time I'm pointing it at branding and web design.
I still love UX and I don't think that changes, but the culture side of tech has been shifting in a way that doesn't sit right with me, and somewhere in the middle of noticing that I realized the work I keep reaching for anyway is brand work, which means logos, packaging, color, type, and then building the site that carries all of it.
The timing works out, because I'm in my senior year of my graphic design degree and I finally have room for outside projects again. Mostly I want to make fun things, the kind of brands that pick a palette and actually commit to it instead of playing it safe. If that sounds like what you're building, come say hi.

With all the tech layoffs happening, I've been thinking a lot about what I actually want to be designing. While finishing my bachelors for graphic design I have been taking branding classes and really enjoying them. Really has been making me rethink working in tech and moving to small business. Here is a project for that class.
