I spent 3 days building a cultural time travel
experience for the Figma Makeathon (my first one btw) and I'm
kind of obsessed with how it turned out.
"Nostalgia isn't a crime" is an interactive
cultural archive covering the 80s, 90s, 2000s
and 2020s. Each decade has its own visual identity,
sounds, and atmosphere.
What's inside:
— Cinematic intro with animated globe and starfield
— 4 decades with unique typography, colors and sounds
— Spotify playlists embedded per era
— Easter egg facts on every card
— A soul decade quiz with 6 archetypes
and a concert ticket result you can share
— Birth year personalizer with cultural data
for every year from 1970 to 2010
Built entirely in Figma Make in 3 days. Fully responsive.
