Type Has a Voice. 🔤

A quick typography study: one word, one orange "O" as the focal point, in two moods.

V1 is dark and dramatic. V2 is light and editorial.

Most resumes look "off" for one reason: the sizes and spacing are random.

Here are the exact specs I use on every resume I design:

1 - Name: 22 to 26 pt, bold

2 - Section headings: 12 pt

3 - Body text: 10 to 11 pt

4 - Line spacing: 1.15

5 - Space between sections: 12 to 14 pt

6 -...

Two resumes. Same person. Only one gets a call back.

A) • has the photo, the colors and the long objective.

B) • has one font, clear sections and white space.

Which one would you shortlist? Vote A or B and tell me why in one line. I will reply to every comment.
