Title: The Zen of Not Giving a Damn WHAT I BUILT: A continuous 30-second photorealistic one-take sci-fi comedy film created natively with Seedance 2.5 in CapCut Video Studio. The story follows Daniel, an unbothered office worker walking to work with his morning coffee while a full-scale apocalyptic alien invasion erupts around him—collapsing skyscrapers, airborne burning taxis, dimensional rifts, and colossal robotic walkers. Without a single cut, the camera tracks Daniel through revolving glass doors and security turnstiles into a serene open-space office, culminating in the ultimate workplace horror: a jammed printer while a 60-foot leviathan roars right outside the panoramic window. WHY I MADE IT: To test the full cinematic limits of Seedance 2.5’s native 30-second continuous generation. My goal was to execute a seamless spatial transition (from extreme outdoor warzone destruction to structured corporate interior), consistent deadpan character acting, and photorealistic physics in one uninterrupted shot. Was going back and forth around different ideas and decided the most important client right now is me wanting to use the tools to create social media reels (based on a short series campaign) about the thoughts I have been sharing. The them for these videos are about undiscovered/unknown species of animals not wanting to be discovered by human because really there is alot that comes with finally being "discovered". I had to redo prompts and/or go back to original/earlier generations to push things in the direction that mostly aligned with what I was trying to convey. Like most times I was crunched on time and had to accept some generation as close enough after some attempts. Used AI generation for images and video, and animal sounds from Envato stock assists. Brought together in Canva. Hopefully will share some of my other ideas I worked on soon.

Cat Distribution System is really set up by the cats. With the Renoise challenge I racked my brain for a "plot twist" and decided to do a heart warming everyday concept versus going all apocalyptic/dramatic. My fun take on a species of animals who strategically domesticated themselves twice because of human produced food and treats. I wrote out the overall concept and four scenes myself. Generated prompts for each scene, with the prompt being used for the video. Generated some images to possibly use, and used one as the start image for the video. I used the Kling model for the videos. It usually does well but this challenge and a previous challenge there were some AI hiccups. I had to try and minimize with editing. Also had to somehow add the watermark. Editing was done in Canva. Enlarge the video and screenshot for full view.

I went the wholesome and grounded route because yeah lol. Series Title: Daisy on the Prairie Original Character: https://cantina.com/i/s4jat (@daisyontheprairie) Pilot Episode: https://cantina.com/i/m5zx8 Info: Daisy is a Prairie Ground Squirrel who is out here to teach you about the Prairie and the native plants and animals on the land. She quite friendly, down to earth, and a protector of prairie lands. The pilot is a quick intro how Daisy lives and her start to prep for a major seasons for the prairie: wildfire season. I imagine a children's show like pacing where there is a new activity or adventure to learn from with each episode while weaving an overall narrative. The goal would be to show the importance of prairie land, and how the plants and animals being and presence positively impacts the prairie ecosystem. Characters introduced would be her parents, friends like bison, other ground squirrels, birds, and so much more. Then there would be focus on plants and other important dynamics of the ecosystem. Also challenges would focus on natural disasters or major shifts in ecosystems and how the animals and ecosystem react to these challenges.

Third and final submission: All four seasons in a landscape. For my final piece, I knew I wanted to do something with transforming with a landscape. Even before working on any of my entries and the Flora challenge I have been thinking about projects around transforming landscapes. One of the reasons I liked the Tile for my first entry and so I looked for a landscape piece through the catalog. Initially thought I would use a colored landscape/realism piece but ended up picking a 16th century artwork titled "Four Landscapes with the Four Seasons" by Hendrick van Schoel (Flemish, active Rome, ca. 1565–1622) After Hans Bol (Netherlandish, Mechelen 1534–1593 Amsterdam). I thought by the title it was found landscapes and four seasons in one depiction and that got my brain going. Turns out it was a series made by Schoel based on sketches/drafts from Bol, that had four landscape pieces depicting the same landscape and the activities done on the land in different seasons. I saw the other possible pieces in the series online, but The Met only has this Summer version. So I colorized the summer version and used it as base for the other seasons and took it from there to create videos to show case what a landscape with four seasons happening at once may look like. Working on this also has my creative writing brain thinking as well. I've been working at building up my Etsy shop with new designs. Typically I do stickers and shirts, but I'm wanting to get back into template design. With that being said, in the past I used Canva but decided this time to work in Adobe Express. 🙌 Created a mobile itinerary template one could use for a birthday, wedding, an anniversary or any other special occasion, all within the style of art deco.
