Excited to share some of the backend work I've been doing lately with Supabase! 🚀 Here's a look at what went into building a production-ready backend from scratch: 🗄️ Database Schema Design Designed a relational schema with multiple interconnected tables: profiles, notes, reminders, conflicts, and a dedicated user_keys table for encryption key management. Every table has proper foreign key relationships, timestamps, and nullable/non-nullable constraints enforced at the DB level. 🔒 Row Level Security (RLS) Every single table has RLS enabled with two policies: users can only access their own rows, and anonymous access is blocked entirely. No exceptions. Security is enforced at the database layer, not just the application layer. 🔑 Auth & Email Flows Set up Supabase Auth with email + OAuth support, including full PKCE flow for secure token exchange. Configured deep link redirects for email confirmation and password reset flows, all tested end to end. ⚡ Edge Functions Built and deployed multiple Supabase Edge Functions handling AI processing pipelines, including JWT validation at the top of every function before any processing begins. The OpenAI API key lives exclusively in Supabase secrets, never in the app or any config file. 🔄 Merge Pipeline Built a follow-up note merge pipeline as an Edge Function. New facts are appended to existing profiles, duplicates are detected and skipped, conflicts are logged, and resolved reminders are handled gracefully. 📦 Migrations All schema changes go through versioned migration files under source control. No manual dashboard changes. CI/CD triggers migrations automatically on merge to main. 🔐 Encryption Architecture Client-side AES-GCM encryption via CryptoKit. Plaintext never sits in the database. Encryption keys are stored in a dedicated RLS-scoped table, fetched after login, and held in memory only for the session duration. Still a lot more to share about this project. Excited to talk about it publicly when it launches! 👀

My Contra × CapCut Challenge Submission What if the story's villain became the only way to reach the red carpet, leading to an unexpected role swap along the journey? The story begins with a magical fly shrinking the protagonist into a confrontation with an annoying tank trying to eliminate her! After a tense clash, they strike a deal to get her to the event. But upon arrival, another character emerges from the travel bag first, only for the original protagonist to make an unexpected entrance after roles were completely swapped during the chaotic ride! My workflow: 1.Conceptualized the storyline based on aligning with the enemy tank and the unexpected role swap during the journey. 2.Developed scenes to explain the new character's emergence followed by the protagonist's surprise arrival. 3.Created and generated the visual scenes using AI. 4.Animated and assembled the scenes into a fast-paced cinematic experience. My goal was to combine visual imagination, action, and unexpected narrative shifts into a short, thrilling experience! #CapCutWorld #CapCutWorldLA #CapCut #StreetToRunway #CinematicEdit #RedCarpet #VisualVibes @capcutapp @CapCut @contra

My Contra × CapCut Challenge Submission ! What if one invention could turn an ordinary invitation into an unexpected adventure? The idea started with designing a unique pair of shoes featuring bold colors and imaginative details. I then built a story around a young inventor who decides to test her creation in an extraordinary way. She walks on water, jumps through floating bubbles, and climbs into the sky before reaching the event with an unexpected, funny twist! 🫧👟 My workflow: 1. Designed the shoes, focusing on their colors and distinctive details. 2. Developed the story around the shoe design. 3. Created the scenes using AI. Animated and assembled the scenes into the final video. My goal was to combine product design, imagination, and visual storytelling in a short, entertaining experience. #CapCutWorld #CapCutWorldLA #CapCut #StreetToRunway #CinematicEdit #RedCarpet #VisualVibes @capcutapp (IG) @CapCut @contra

Ever wondered if an ancient portal could make reaching a distant place easy? When I saw the challenge, I wanted to tell a magical story rather than a simple transition. I imagined myself wandering through the charming streets of Paris, wondering how to reach the massive CapCut World LA event. Suddenly, lost in thought, I tripped and fell into a dark underground tunnel. At the end of the corridor, I discovered an ancient portal carved with frozen-looking snakes. The moment I approached, they came to life, transforming into vibrant, colorful snakes that wrapped around me and lifted me high into a magical flight straight to the flashing red carpet! Workflow: 1.Crafting the precise prompts and capturing the charming Paris street environment transitioning into the underground tunnel. 2.Generating cinematic shots and visual transitions (the unexpected fall, the frozen snakes coming to life, and the magical flight) using CapCut AI tools. 3.Polishing and editing the 15-second vertical commercial, fine-tuning visual flow and snake physics . #CapCutWorldLA #CapCut #StreetToRunway #CinematicEdit #RedCarpet #VisualVibes @capcutapp @CapCut

Over the past period, I worked on the design of a 100-bed general hospital. One of the main challenges was organizing the different functions and circulation paths while creating a comfortable environment for both patients and visitors. This included separating movement, ensuring privacy, and making the hospital easier to navigate. But I’d like to hear from you: Whether you’ve visited a hospital or been a patient yourself, was there anything you experienced that felt different, unexpected, or genuinely made your visit more comfortable? It could be a small design detail, a waiting area, the way spaces were organized, natural lighting, or anything else that made a positive impression. What is one thing you’ve experienced in a hospital that you wish more hospitals would adopt?

Before-and-After Website Redesign Concept Torrance Expert Concrete Solutions Original website: https://www.torranceexpertconcrete.com/ My redesign concept: https://concept-jade-eta.vercel.app/ Analyzed an existing concrete contractor's website and designed a comprehensive redesign concept to demonstrate how its digital experience could be significantly upgraded. The project reimagined the presentation of the company's services, pricing, credibility, and customer journey through a modern, responsive, conversion-focused interface. While the original website already presented extensive service information and business credentials, my concept reorganized the experience around how prospective customers make decisions. Key upgrades included interactive concrete-problem discovery, a driveway cost estimator, clearer pricing and project timelines, structured service categories, prominent quote-request actions, and a more organized presentation of customer reviews and business credentials. The result was an independently developed, interactive website concept demonstrating a more structured and customer-oriented approach to presenting the business online. The redesign was created as a proposal for a prospective client and did not replace the original live website.

Designed and developed a bilingual corporate website for a medical and aesthetic products import, export, and distribution business serving the Libyan healthcare market. The website was created to establish a professional digital presence, communicate the business's value to international manufacturers, and build trust with doctors, clinics, pharmacies, and healthcare partners. The website featured a company profile, business history timeline, vision and mission, product catalogue with category filters and availability status, international brand portfolio, quality assurance and cold-chain information, and dedicated sections for clinic registration inquiries and manufacturer partnerships. It also included Arabic and English experiences, product information, FAQs, and contact forms to support business inquiries and partnership opportunities. to see the work to this website https://tamayoz-aldaem.vercel.app/en/

Developed an experimental AI speech-generation pipeline focused on Libyan Arabic, addressing the lack of suitable off-the-shelf voices and public speech datasets for the dialect. The project aimed to enable more natural Libyan Arabic voice interactions for applications such as AI voice assistants and automated calling systems. The project included a dialect-specific speech dataset, transcript alignment and normalization, a Libyan Arabic lexicon, recording-script validation, and fine-tuning an open-source text-to-speech model. It also incorporated speech-quality filtering and voice-similarity evaluation to improve output quality while avoiding imitation of real speakers. The result was a research prototype with measurable progress and further improvements planned.
