Episode 1: The Fall
An original micro-series, made end to end in Cantina.
A bad fall can cost an ankle, and an ankle can cost more than your balance.
For a skater, it can mean losing the ability to skate.
Meet Pia Polka: the girl with the iconic hair rollers, a love for skating, and a dream she never imagined she'd have to question.
It was supposed to be the best glide of her life.
Until everything changed.
One moment, Pia was in the air, ready to land the trick she had worked so hard for.
The next...
she was falling.
But now, one question keeps replaying in her mind:
Was it really an accident... or was it intentional?
And this is only the beginning.
In the next episode, Pia and her family travel to the province, where she discovers a mysterious little shop, one that may give her something she never expected: the freedom to decide what happens to her future.
But what does that mean for her past?
And what about Lee and Peachie?
After everything that happened, will Pia Polka choose the right path for her, or will she write a completely new path of her own?

THE PILOT
Pia rides home at sunset, hair rollers in, and gets ready at her mirror. She closes her eyes, and opens them on the ice. She skates with her friends Peachie and Lee, laughing, building speed. Then Peachie kneels to "fix" her skate, and after Pia glides away, Peachie and Lee share a look. Pia launches into her jump, and the episode ends in mid-air, on her face, the moment she realizes something is wrong.

WHERE THE SERIES GOES NEXT
Episode 2, "The Shop": the family drives to the province for the holidays. Every house and store glows with Christmas lights except one small, old shop. Through a crack in its glass, Pia sees only two feet in ice skates, gliding across the dark floor.
From there, the series follows three questions: what really happened at the rink, what Peachie and Lee know, and whether the shop can give Pia the power to choose her own future, or to write a new one.
