Poké was my first self-initiated branding project, developed from a brief I found on Designer Briefs back in 2023. Not bad for a first branding project, considering I drew the illustration using a mousepad and sheer determination haha.
I played with the typography to turn the letters themselves into visual elements, using the shapes of a poké bowl and chopsticks to build the logo and create a playful, recognizable identity.
My Process
I started by exploring the visual world of poké culture- fresh seafood, tropical elements, the ocean, and playful food imagery. From there, I developed a colour palette inspired by tropical foliage, fresh fish, sea and waves, and tropical florals. I then built a supporting illustration system around these ideas using hand-drawn elements like fish, shells, flowers, lemons, and coconuts. Aranya Naturals | Bhringraj Hair Oil Label Design
Label design for Aranya Naturals, a fictional Ayurvedic hair oil brand. The brief was a premium but approachable label for women aged 25 to 40 who want clean ingredients and modern, minimal packaging with a heritage feel.
What I did:
Designed the front and back label for a 100 ml amber glass dropper bottle
Built a palette of forest green, cream and gold, paired with a serif and a clean sans-serif
Kept the front panel minimal, and organised the back panel with ingredients, directions, benefit icons, cautions, manufacturer details, MRP and barcode
Left clear space for batch, MFG and EXP coding, and checked that the dark green label works against amber glass
Created front, back and lifestyle mockups
Result: a clean, shelf-ready label concept that looks premium without feeling crowded.
