🔊 SOUND ON! Do you remember the Coca-Cola polar bears? They're a classic from my childhood, and I wanted to reimagine them for this #holidaychallenge2025 using Descript's AI tools and music made with Suno 🎄🐻❄️✨ For the music, I leaned into a hip hop + Christmas vibe. The first idea was actually a breakdancing Rudolph, but instead of creating just that image, I decided to use it as the soundtrack for this spot. 👉Link to the track here, (https://suno.com/s/x2Aj6wPyrPeOw3co) made by my musical alias Sistema Beats (https://suno.com/@sistemabeats) 🔥🔊 What do you think? @Contra HQ HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! ✨🎄🎅🏾🥂✨

Here's a music video I edited for the Chilean indie duo Marineros ⚓️ 🎥 It was filmed in Los Angeles 🇺🇸 The director wanted a mood-based video rather than a story-driven one, full of simple but enjoyable daily-life moments, cooking like cooking, taking a walk, or going to the beach together. I also loved that it has lots of textures and abstract shots. 🔊 What do you think? 👀 🎞💥🤘 I haven't shared music videos here. Would this be a kind of video I could make through Contra? 🤔 #ShareYourWork

I decided to re-imagine CapCut as a co-working space for creatives, where you can work all day (or all night), always fueled by free coffee on tap ☕ There's the "timeline lounge", where you can go when you want to network and share ideas, but also individual pods where you can go in and take a call or record audio 🎤 Essentially, this is a space that, much like the current CapCut brand, tailors itself for creatives and meets you where you're at, whether you're a morning person or night owl, or even if you're working away on your 5 to 9 until you can leave your 9 to 5. Heck, bonus points if you are a video editor and you go there to edit using CapCut! (they should give out free memberships to whoever does that IMHO) 🤩 CapCut team, feel free to jump in on this idea - it's free for a limited time, all I ask is an invite to the grand opening 😉 This was all created by me, Sílvia Pinho, you can email me at hello@freelancingwithsilvia.com (mailto:hello@freelancingwithsilvia.com) or find me on socials @freelancingwithsilvia And, of course, you can see my vision and progress through the videos and images below 👇

Turning a long-form podcast into a high-converting trailer 🎬 I took this deep-dive episode from the When Shift Happens podcast featuring entrepreneur Berwin Tanko and distilled it into a fast-paced, high-retention vertical video. The goal? Hook the viewer in the first 3 seconds, retain them with a personal story, and deliver a smooth transition into the guest's business value proposition - and ofc, making them want to watch the full episode!! Instead of just clipping a random "good talking point", I mapped out a distinct storytelling framework for this 90-second bit: 🪝 The emotional hook: started with raw, relatable vulnerability - working 100-hour weeks, being $100K in debt, and surviving on factory bread after a $120 date. This immediately builds relatability and high stakes. 🧠 The authority shift: introduced the guest's massive credibility (Nasdaq listing at 21, managing a half-billion-dollar real estate portfolio) right when the audience is fully invested in his "broke" backstory. 🙋 The "what's in it for me?" value: moved into the practical pitch - how viewers can use his platform to invest in real estate with just $100. 💥 The final mindset takeaway: ended on an inspiring note about work ethic, leaving the audience feeling motivated and primed to check out the full episode. As for execution, I made sure to include dynamic visual pacing, combining clean, punchy kinetic text overlays with context-specific b-roll to keep the viewer visually stimulated. This is one of my favorite things to do - finding the hidden golden threads in a massive block of raw footage and weaving them into a snackable piece of content that ACTUALLY drives traffic.

I know we're not required to post this here, but I kinda love my idea so I wanted to share 😊 here's the premise for my show pitch: Maya Aris is a struggling freelancer one step away from eviction. Desperate for work, she accepts a shady gig on Samsfinds to playtest a retro arcade cabinet. The client? A hustle-bro developer more interested in profit than safety. After spending her last dime to boot the machine, the glitch consumes her, digitizing her into a 16-bit nightmare. Turns out that decades ago, this machine had been pulled from an arcade in town after children vanished mysteriously. Now, Maya’s only hope lies with three teenagers who find the machine in a suburban garage. And as they play, one boy realizes the character on screen isn't code - it’s a real person.

If you speak Portuguese and you're watching this - OLÁ! I did two ads for Barkibu last year, when my dog was just a tiny little biting puppy. It's always so heartwarming to look back at these images and see how much she's grown <3 Anyway, as you can tell, these were recorded in Portuguese, which is actually my native language, although most of my content and work that I do ends up being in English. And while these ads took FOREVER to film because my dog was constantly either running away or trying to chew through my hoodie to grab the snacks that I had grabbed to bribe her with, I definitely had a lot of fun! If there are any pet brands out there in need of content - I have 3 cats, 1 (grown) puppy, and 5 goats, so hit me up 😊
