Metrics: 695,042 conversations; 2.6 Qs/convo; feedback 6% up / 94% down; ~10s to first token, ~11s complete; KB >100k structured rows.

Legacies is a genealogy platform designed to help people explore, organize, and connect their family histories. The project focuses on making African family history easier to document and navigate. Users can begin with information such as a family name, compound, village, Local Government Area, or state and use that information to build a structured family history. The platform is designed around family trees and shared ancestry, with the goal of helping people discover connections between relatives and preserve information that might otherwise be lost across generations. I built the application as a full-stack project, working across the frontend and backend. The backend uses Node.js and Express, with PostgreSQL for storing and organizing family data. Ria Braids Studio — Luxury Brand Website A fully responsive, motion-designed website built for Ria Braids Studio, a braiding salon serving Royse City and Dallas, Texas. The brief called for a luxury aesthetic that matched the brand's existing visual identity — warm rose, coral, and gold tones extracted directly from the client's logo and marketing materials. Key features: Fixed glassmorphism navigation with mobile hamburger menu, animated hero section with twinkling star field and rotating SVG badge, scroll-triggered reveal animations throughout, service cards with hover micro-interactions, three-tier pricing layout, a step-by-step booking flow, and a contact form that pre-populates and opens WhatsApp for instant client communication. Design approach: Paired Cormorant Garamond (luxury display) with DM Sans (clean body copy) to balance old-world elegance with modern readability. Custom SVG braid-pattern dividers echo the brand's craft. All motion respects prefers-reduced-motion for accessibility. Tech: Vanilla HTML, CSS, JavaScript — no frameworks, no dependencies. Fully self-contained single file.
