Customers design road-legal BS AU 145e number plates in a live 2D / 3D Gel / 4D laser-cut plate builder, order online and track production through to delivery. What I built (system design + full-stack development, end to end): • 5-step plate configurator with live preview and server-side pricing that never trusts the client • DVLA document verification with an admin review queue • Order pipeline state machine: received → production → quality check → dispatched → delivered • Inventory with bill of materials, SKU generation and idempotent stock reservation • Print-ready plate artwork PDFs, invoices, returns, disputes, coupons and reviews • Payments (myPOS, PayPal), Shopify / eBay / Etsy marketplace sync, and Royal Mail / DPD / Evri / ShipStation shipping with idempotent webhooks • Database-driven CMS, blog, SEO tooling and an AI plate assistant Tech stack: Next.js App Router, React, Node.js, MongoDB / Mongoose, Zod, TanStack Query, Tailwind CSS, AWS S3, Vitest.
